‘Clean House’ Looking for Cluttered Homes

Style Network’s Clean House show is looking for cluttered homes in the Atlanta area to feature in their show.

Do you, or someone you know, need help ridding your home of clutter? Are you having a hard time letting go of stuff you don’t need but just can’t seem to part with? Are at least 3 ROOMS IN YOUR HOUSE in dire need of a makeover? Then you need CLEAN HOUSE!!!

If you are chosen, the CLEAN HOUSE crew will get rid of your clutter, clean, paint, and transform your home into a beautiful living space with the help of an interior designer.

You will stay in a luxury hotel while the work is being done, and reap the benefits, but you must participate as the owners of the house in the filming of the show.

If you OWN a SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSE (sorry, no apartments, condos, or townhouses) and at least 2 adults live in your home, then please email the following info to us and we’ll be in touch with more details:

Names and ages of everyone living in the home. (must OWN home)
Address & phone number.
Photos of your cluttered rooms if possible. Garages only qualify if they’ve already been converted into actual rooms.

‘Joneses’ Filming in Cobb County

The Marietta Daily Journal reports that film crews were on location at Kell High School in northeast Cobb for the new upcoming movie, “The Joneses,” which is set to be released next year. Starring in the lead roles are Demi Moore and David Duchovny.

The shoot was all day Wednesday including filming both interior and exterior scenes of the high school. A majority of the film is being shot in the north metro Atlanta area around Alpharetta and Roswell. The film is written and directed by Derrick Borte.

Filming is expected to wrap on November 20th. More films are expected to be filmed in Georgia this fall and winter as new state tax incentives are attracting more studios.

Boundary Waters Recreational Complex

A 500-acre facility that accommodates active recreation, 8 baseball fields, equestrian trails, hiking trails, picnic and playground areas. The eastern part of the park is bordered by the Chattahoochee River with several access points.

Fairplay Park

Deerlick Park

A 66-acre park that has both passive and active areas, including ball fields, activity center, gymnasium, tennis courts, amphitheater, gazebo, and restroom facilities. The Park also hosts a 3-acre fishing lake, several pavilions and a pier.

Jason Piccolo films in Douglas County

Recently local upcoming director Jason Piccolo filmed a scene in his independent film at the Douglas County Public Library. In search of a library with a small town feel, Piccolo sought the help of the Douglas County Film Commission which was able to deliver several filming locations. Once a selection was made, Commission member Jerry Frost orchestrated the time and space needed for the one scene.
